It has been a whirl wind of a weekend! I have been in & out of the ER and then I got admitted into the hospital. It all started with some crazy upper stomach pains on Friday. I ended up going into the ER and got some news that I was having an ectopic pregnancy. Did I mention that we found out we were pregnant with baby # 2 a few days prior? It was definitely a shock. Anyways, the doctor sent us home after I had a GI cocktail. We picked up our sweet girl from Grandma’s and headed home at 11 P.M. Once we got home I slept until 3:30 A.M. and woke up with excruciating pain and once again we went into the ER and they decided to admit me. My GI doctor came in and said I needed my gallbladder removed. Wait, What?! Did ya’ll know that it is very common for women after birth to end up needing their gallbladder out? Yeah. I was shocked. & Scared. I had a vag birth so this would be my first surgery. Well the surgeon came in and words were exchanged. This is getting too long, but short story the ER doctor didn’t communicate well with my surgeon and didn’t even know I was pregnant for a day. Like WHAT? I ended up not liking my surgeon because he wanted to put his ‘religious & personal’ opinion in and not giving me his medical opinion. oh I forgot to mention that I could have been discharged early Monday but I had to ask if I was going to have surgery..MULTIPLE TIMES or could I go home. That surgeon didn’t even tell my nurses that he came in and talked with me so here I am on bed rest until I can get on the books to have my gallbladder removed. I guess my short story turned out longer. LOL Don’t worry, my GI doctor called me yesterday and hes referring me to a different surgeon. THANK GOODNESS. The hospital wasn’t terrible, the nurses and the rest of the doctors were good but that surgeon was awful.
ANYWAYS. While my sweet baby is with her grandma so I can relax before my first procedure tomorrow I am in full pampering mode. I can’t get enough of face masks and eye masks. & I can’t even tell you guys how much I love my IT cosmetics Confidence in a cream!! It is an anti-aging armour and I already love the results I am seeing! What are your go to favorite items for pampering sessions?!
